Austin W School of Public and International Affairs 135 East 22nd Street (Lessington Avenue and 22nd Street) (646) 660-6700 Technology Leadership Development Program (TLDP) A one-year program dedicated to the professional development and growth of students. Great interest in technology work The program is designed to make students more aware of the great opportunities in technology and the critical personal and technical skills employers are looking for. The program will provide students with exposure to technology-related areas that include cyber security, data analytics, information technology.

TLDP is sponsored by the Starr Career Development Center (SCDC) at Baruch College and the Shulman Family Charitable Fund. This unique program will offer a professional development workshop, interactive skills training, employer site visits, mentoring, and a group project internship experience for Baruch College students interested in succeeding in tech. The program is an opportunity for students to learn more about what companies look for in candidates and how classroom learning is applied in the world of work In addition, students in all programs will be matched with a technical mentor, helping them gain a better understanding of technology and how business works.

Hepatitis Testing Day

The aim of the program is to create pathways and access for TLDP students to technical professionals, employers and Baruch graduates in various industries by developing important technical and personal skills. Through the TLDP, students develop core skills that employers look for, such as critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, professionalism, teamwork and oral/written skills. By being part of the TLDP, students will learn how to find local opportunities, gain a better understanding of great opportunities in the technology field, and learn what employers are looking for in potential candidates.
