Fresno State Calendar Fall 2023 – All incoming students starting in or after fall 2021 must provide proof of immunization per CSU Executive Order 803.

Fresno State is open to returning applicants in the spring of 2023. The application period runs from August 1, 2022 to August 31, 2022.

Fresno State alumni who have achieved good academic standing and are seeking readmission after two consecutive semesters must apply for admission to Cal State Apply. If a returning student attended another university or institution after their last semester at Fresno State, official transcripts from those schools must be submitted. Before finally approving your reinstatement, the committee asked you to meet certain conditions. An enrollment suspension will be noted on your records and will not be removed until the Admissions Office receives your final transcripts for current outstanding courses. Once your official transcripts show that the committee's conditions have been successfully met, your enrollment ban will be lifted and you will be able to register for your Fall 2023 courses.

We encourage you to apply for the major in which you wish to graduate. It is not possible to change majors during the application and admission process. Once you are accepted, you are never guaranteed to change your subject and only do so if you apply. After the registration date (after the 20th day of teaching), requests for changes will be submitted to the Student Secretariat. We encourage students to provide an alternate photo when applying to Fresno State. Choose your larger replacement wisely. We will only allow alternative majors where there is additional opportunity to re-register students for those majors. Approximately 7-10 business days after you apply to Cal State Apply, you will receive an email with your student number. Make sure your email account's spam filter is set to accept email from mail.fresnostate.edu. Important regulatory notices will be sent to your Fresno State email account.

Events And Workshops

Submit official transcripts by February 1, 2023, including fall 2022 grades and spring 2023 courses, as well as other official documents such as AP test scores.

Visiting Day for New Bulldogs – We welcome prospective Bulldogs and share more information about our services and programs. This festive day will also showcase our Bulldog Spirit with student performances, tours, games, music and other fun activities.

Incoming students must complete their Dog Days reservation by June 1 for transfer students. Students who do not complete the registration process by the deadline may cancel their admission to Fresno State. Annual plan 2022-23 The academic year is divided into two 15-week semesters (autumn and spring) and 2 optional sessions, one in January and one in May.

California Workforce Connection

University High School is a free 9th through 12th grade public high school on the campus of California State University in Fresno. University High School offers an accelerated college preparatory education to approximately 480 students who share a common interest in music. Students receive a strong foundation in music and the liberal arts and sciences in a small high school environment while taking advantage of the opportunities available on a large public university campus.

The university high school traditionally accepts nine-year-old students who apply in the 8th year. Depending on our current class capacity, University High School also accepts students who wish to enter University High School in their 10th, 11th and 12th grades. The university recommends that all parents and interested students come to our information days during the fall and winter.

All students who attend University High School will master the content and engage in skills that we believe will prepare all students for the choices they will make upon graduating high school. All students benefit from attending university high school, even if university high school is not the school for everyone. Students must be committed to the program we offer to be successful.
