Midtown Public Charter School

Governors of Malmesbury C of E Primary School have determined that the College will comply with Wiltshire Council's school accreditation requirements for the 2021-22 academic year.

Wiltshire Council controls all admissions to our school. The closing date for all applications is 15 January 2022 at midday for children who wish to start in September 2022. Notification that there is a place at our school for your child will be available to you in April 2022. Notification will be sent at June 2022 for late applications (ie after January 15).

The application deadline for admission in September 2023 will be 15 January 2023, and the deadline for admission in September 2024 will be 15 January 2024.

Water scarcity and overuse of groundwater (GW) have become major obstacles to the development of the Xiong'an New Area (XNA), the environmental protection of Baiyangdian Lake, and the social and economic development of the surrounding areas. This study used the numerical GW flow model to critically analyze the changes of shallow GW levels and GW areas of the Daqing River plains in the next 15 years (2021-2035) under different expansion plans from south to north. Water Conversion Project (SNWDP) acts as a source of GW charging. The results show an increase in GW conservation and GW levels and the community's GW resources are in a healthy state. The cost of changes in irrigation systems and river wells in XNA will increase by 14.56% and 11.04% by 2035, compared to the current situation. The Water Well Recharge System was considered the most effective in XNA when comparing the effects of different design recharge systems on GW and recharge levels. This study provides an overview of the management and conservation of water resources in some areas that suffer from high consumption of GW.

The establishment of the XNA has great historical significance [11]. However, sustainable development in XNA is currently hampered by water scarcity, high water pollution and high consumption of GW.
