Fisd Calendar 2023-24
Fisd Calendar 2023-24 – The Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2022-2023 school year at its regular meeting on Feb. 17. and 2023-2024. annual academic calendar.
The district had an opportunity to review and provide feedback on potential calendars earlier this year. An Academic Calendar Committee made up of parents, teachers and administrators reviews the feedback and makes a final recommendation to the trustees.
Fisd Calendar 2023-24
As in recent years, each calendar includes two event days to allow for school closures, for example due to inclement weather. Professional development days and holidays are also listed on separate calendars and are changed based on local opinion to coincide with various religious holidays representing different communities, such as:

A Winter Fortnight is created each calendar year to provide families with additional travel days during the holiday season, with students returning for the spring semester in the first week of January.
