We will not be able to welcome guests at the Opening Ceremony or Opening Ceremony as our graduates focus on the ability of our class to celebrate together and continue to comply with New York State guidelines as required. Additionally, the campus COVID-related visitor policy continues to apply. This is far from ideal and our hearts hurt as much as you. However, we must focus on our students while ensuring their ability to comply with health and safety regulations.

We are hosting two webcasts for parents and loved ones to share this special moment with, including giving family and friends the opportunity to see their graduating students via Zoom as they walk the stage.
Academic Calendars And Exam Schedules
Students, it is my pleasure to congratulate you in May. Having the opportunity to celebrate this important milestone through a face-to-face event on our campus is a beacon of hope and light that guides us through the remainder of this spring semester and wraps up a truly special year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ithaca College is offering distance learning in Fall 2020. This is based on a plan to bring students back to campus on October 5th.

Ithaca College will teach remotely in the fall of 2020, contrary to its original face-to-face teaching plan.
In an August 18 email to her university community, President Shirley M. Collado said she and her senior management made a decision based on the continuing severity of the COVID-19 pandemic. The email noted that the necessary modifications, including facility readiness and population density, would change the campus experience in ways the administration didn't want students to do. Corrado also said it is likely that the university will have to close at some point during the school year. This is a situation that can interfere with your academic experience.
