A Core Ritual Returns: Twice Weekly Alternate Side Parking

The five boroughs will fully restore alternative side parking spaces this summer as part of an $ 11 million effort to improve street cleanliness, the newly appointed city health commissioner announced Monday.

Health Commissioner Jessica Tisch said in a press release that the city partially suspended emergency parking in March 2020 and will revert to its previous rules on July 5.
