Wylie Isd Calendar 2023 – (RED OAK, TX) – On March 28, 2021, the Red Oak ISD School Board approved the administration's 2022-2023 school year calendar. Due to changes made based on input received and review of calendars published by local ISDs, the final calendar will differ significantly from that sent for feedback to staff, students, and parents.

"We really took into account the opinions of parents, staff and even students. The main issue was the implementation of HB4545 to help bridge the gap among students who did not meet last year's STARR exam standards. Instead of just 4-5 days of intervention for these students next year, summer school, Talon time, we will even include intervention in pre-school, after-school and even other opportunities such as ROISD Superintendent Brenda Sanford.

Initial approval in the survey was low compared to last year and only 67% positive compared to the previous 74% (this was before the introduction of HB4545 and Academic AID Week).
