The school board voted March 29 to have Superintendent Kent Scribner resign Aug. 31. The county will pay Scribner $573,077 to buy out of the contract, according to the exit agreement, which was obtained by The Fort Worth Report through an open request.

Fort Worth ISD School Board Agrees to Pay Scribner $573,077 to Leave Leadership

Fort Worth ISD has five months to work with the current superintendent and find the next superintendent.

On March 29, the school board agreed to let Superintendent Kent Scribner resign. August 31st. The district will pay Scribner $573,077 to buy out his contract, according to an exit agreement obtained by The Fort Worth Report through an open solicitation.
